Dragon Hill Spa, Yongsan

In the summer of 2015 I visited the Dragon Hill Spa in Yongsan, Seoul.

The entrance looked so nice. I was even more curious about how the inside looked!

The spa had lots of facilities! I was hanging out at the arcade room...

East Sea: Donghae, Gangwondo

In September I've been to the East Sea for a weekend with the dorm friends!

Day 1

On the way there we travelled for like 4 hours. I had a few naps in the bus which was quite nice :)

Everyone was happy to have arrived at the hotel. It looked really fancy in the lobby...

And then this was our bed! It was actually quite comfortable and it reminded me of being in Vietnam.

Okay, so after dumping our stuff in the hotel, we went out for some food!

And then we found the beach!!!

It was actually really cloudy and later on it started to drizzle...

So we went to this cafe at the beach to drink something hot to get warm :)

After going to the beach we went back to the hotel to rest for a little. After that we had fish for dinner since we were at the east sea.

Day 2

On the second day I woke up kind of early, so I explored the hotel a bit.

I got tired of the hotel and went for a walk outside and it was nice. It was so sunny. A good day to go to the beach, but instead...

We visited a big cave instead!

After exploring the cave, we had lunch and headed back to the bus station to go back to Anyang.

It was a really nice weekend :)

Korean Thanksgiving: Chuseok

On September 27 it was Korean Thanksgiving: Chuseok. I was invited to my friend Verdi's house to celebrate Chuseok with her family. We went there a day before to help prepare food.

September 26

The day before we were at Verdi's grandparents house to help out.

After helping out we went to Verdi's house to sleep :)

First time seeing Verdi drive. I have to admit I was quite scared.

September 27

It was officially Chuseok and the Snapchat app had a sticker over the picture, which is so cute.

We ate awesome traditional Korean food together for breakfast and for lunch. It was very delicious!

We played Korean games. One of them was Go Stop! This game is so complicated, I wouldn't even know how to explain it. But I was really good at it, I kept winning :)

Anyway, it was really nice to experience a real Korean thanksgiving at a Korean family's house.
