It was the day everyone has been waiting for. The first day of the three day Anyang festival. I was super excited, because there were gonna be good food and Korean artists coming to perform at night.
This is how the stands looked like. Every major had their own stands to sell food. Our group of international students also had our own booth to sell food and play games.
Our booth looked like this. We sold American and Dutch pancakes, Kazachstan bread, Hawaiian meatballs, Spanish tortillas and other good stuff. Students could also play beer pong at our booth. Everyone had to work a few hours to help sell and make food, play games with "customers", clean up, etc.
Everyone was prepping the day before the festival here :)
On the first day I worked at the beer pong tables and it was very fun to play. After an hour of working we walked around to get some good food like pork belly and takoyaki :D
At around 9 PM there were artists who came to perform, which I was excited for. There was Basick and Loco that I liked, Korean rappers, and they were very good!

Some pictures we took on the second day.
On the second day there were student performances. The cheerleader club of Anyang university performed and some students sang songs. The atmosphere was good :)

It was the last day of the festival, sadly. We had a long day of classes and in between classes I had the opportunity to eat this amazing ricecake on a stick, dukgalchi.
At around 5 PM all of the international students were invited to have dinner with the international office. They showed us how to make traditional Korean foods like a Korean pancake, bulgogi, etc. and then we ate together. It was very good!
Around 8 PM a lot of people gathered in front of the stage waiting for the main artist, Hyukoh band! There were so many people and I was glad I was standing on the balcony :D
That's Hyukoh. There were other cool other artists as well, like Giriboy and Black Nut.
In between all these performances there were fireworks as well! Anyang university wasn't joking around during the festival!
It was a wonderful three days and I wish my university in Rotterdam did something like this as well. It's very nice to be a student at Anyang university, I'm so envious.
